Q: What is the right age to bring my child in for an eye exam?
A: As early as 6 months old, but definitely by the time that they start school. You should also bring them in if your child squints a lot, sits too close to the screen or games and toys that they are playing with, or always brings common everyday items closer to look at them. You know your child best so if you feel that they are not properly developing for their age, that’s the right time to bring them in.
